Recognizing the importance of providing primary and specialized healthcare to the camp's residents, Gaza Camp Medical Center was established in 2000 as a cornerstone in supporting community health and alleviating the medical burdens on the camp's population. The center initially offered general medicine services and then significantly expanded to include:

• Pediatrics Clinic
• Dentistry Clinic
• Orthopedics Clinic
• Ophthalmology Clinic
• Dermatology Clinic
• ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Clinic
• Cardiology & Vascular Clinic
• Internal Medicine & Endocrinology Clinic

The center also includes:

• Radiology Department
• Physical Therapy Clinic
• Audiometry (Hearing Test) Clinic
• Medical Laboratory & Diagnostic Testing Department
• A fully equipped pharmacy providing essential medications

The center operates with dedicated and trained medical and nursing staff who work tirelessly every day to meet the needs of thousands of patients in the camp, despite logistical challenges and limited resources. This center is a true lifeline for the camp’s residents, embodying the spirit of solidarity and humanitarian commitment toward a community that has endured harsh conditions.

Sustaining and expanding support for this center is a direct investment in human dignity and the right to adequate healthcare, offering an opportunity to build a healthier and more equitable future for the next generations in the camp.

Additionally, a three-floor social support wing was annexed to the medical center, aiming to empower families through counseling and organizing psychosocial health programs for children, adolescents, women, and men.

Since its establishment until mid-2024, the center has received over 249,871 patients.
