Where Do We Operate
Medical Centers
The Medical centers strive to provide the best medical and therapeutic services at minimal financial costs, tailored to the economic conditions and difficult living circumstances of the camp residents. MAP Jordan always aims to alleviate their health burdens by offering examinations, consultations, and providing medications to center patients.
Talbiyeh Medical Center / Zizia
The talbiyeh Medical Center was established in 2019 with the aim of providing medical specialties that the area lacks. The clinic serves nearly 25,000 residents within the camp area, in addition to the inhabitants of nearby villages in the Giza district.
Hittin Medical Center / Schneller
MAP Jordan established the first medical center in Hittin Camp in 1990 based on the urgent need and increasing demand for healthcare. The center aims to provide high-quality health services to camp residents and surrounding communities, with the goal of improving healthcare and increasing health awareness in the region.
Gaza Medical Center / Jerash
The medical center within Gaza Camp was established in 2000 and includes a general medicine clinic, a gynecology clinic, a pediatrics clinic, a dental clinic, an orthopedics clinic, and an ophthalmology clinic. Additional clinics include dermatology, ENT (ear, nose, and throat), cardiology, and internal medicine and endocrinology, along with a laboratory, pharmacy, and ultrasound department. A physical therapy department and an audiology clinic have also been added.
Mobile Clinic
The mobile clinic is a vital initiative in the field of healthcare provision, especially in areas lacking sufficient health infrastructure, such as refugee camps and remote regions that are difficult to access. There is a need to add a mobile clinic to the medical services provided through the association's visits to less accessible areas.
Ophthalmology Clinic / Al- Sokhna
After assessing the needs of the camp, it became clear that there was a need for basic healthcare, and the field of ophthalmology was identified as one of the most important specialties to focus on in any community. This is especially crucial in camp environments where health and environmental conditions may not be suitable, increasing the risk of eye diseases and injuries. The clinic provides regular examinations and treatments.
