Success story: Nusayba defeating cerebral palsy.
MAP Jordan raised the necessary donations to assist Nusayba, a brave 10-year-old girl residing in the Gaza refugee camp in Jerash.
Nusayba suffers from cerebral palsy, which has led to severe tightness in her hip, knee, and ankle tendons, significantly restricting the movement of her lower limbs. Nusayba urgently needed a surgical procedure to release her tendons, costing 1,600 Jordanian dinars, which also included lengthening procedures. Additionally, MAP Jordan committed to cover the finances she required for special medical devices and frequent medical check-ups for a year. MAP Jordan’s intervention gave her a chance to recover and regain some of her lost childhood.
