Gaza Medical Center/ Jerash
The Gaza Camp Health Center serves more than 37,000 residents and is classified as one of the poorest camps in Jordan in terms of poverty level and inadequate infrastructure and environmental services. It is the second medical project of MAP Jordan.
Located in the Gaza Camp, which belongs to the Jerash Governorate and was established in 1968, the health center was built in 2000 in collaboration with Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World) French NGO.
It has become one of the most important centers for specialized medical services in the camp and surrounding areas, complementing the services provided by the UNRWA health center.
The Gaza Camp / Jerash Medical Center is situated north of Amman, southwest of Jerash city, and approximately 48 km north of the capital.
