Our elders, our blessing; their health is our responsibility.
Based on this motto, a campaign was launched in 2022 aimed at ensuring the health of our elders through essential medical procedures.
The campaign included important screenings such as clinical examinations, purchasing medications, laboratory and radiological tests, providing assistive devices such as canes and wheelchairs, and specialized medical equipment.
Additionally, it contributed to surgical operations and specific medical procedures such as oil injections, Avastin injections, and cardiac monitoring.
This initiative reflects our commitment to prioritizing the health and care of our elders, enhancing their quality of life, and ensuring comprehensive support for healthcare.
Fighting Malnutrition Campaign
Jordan Medical Aid for the Palestinians invites you to participate in the campaign “Fighting Malnutrition” to reduce malnutrition among children in the camps and neighboring villages through specialty clinics in our health centers where the campaign started on 7/1/2022 and continues until 08/31/2022.
Light Their Path 2 Campaign
MAP Jordan launched this campaign in 2022 and illuminated the path for over 50 patients who had lost their vision due to their financial inability to afford treatment.
This was achieved through various donations and the following initiatives:
- Covering the cost of medical glasses.
- Purchasing medications such as eye drops and therapeutic creams.
- Contributing to retina examinations and optic nerve testing.
- Supporting eye surgeries.
- Assisting in purchasing equipment for eye clinics in Gaza camps.
Starting from September 11, 2022, MAP Jordan will treat 50 patients with eye diseases of all ages by operating the required medical surgeries for them over the course of two months.
Light Their Path Campaign
The campaign was launched in 2021 to illuminate the path for over 100 adult and elderly patients suffering from eye diseases, through necessary surgical procedures.
Each surgery cost approximately 400 Jordanian Dinars on average, with the option to donate any amount.
By the end of 2022, we hope to have treated 5,000 elders from those who attend MAP Jordan's medical centers in the Jordanian camps (Talbieh, Hittin, and Gaza). The campaign will start on 01\11\2022 and will last for 2 months.
Sponsor Their Treatment Campaign
This campaign contributed to treating our needy community members suffering from winter illnesses and thyroid disorders.
Thyroid gland imbalance in pregnant women can lead to fetal congenital deformities, and the prevalence of winter illnesses is high among our people in the camps due to challenging living conditions they endure.
Free Medical Campaign for Cataract Treatment
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal, the Honorary President of MAP Jordan, a free medical campaign for cataract treatment was organized in collaboration with the International Vision Foundation at Al Khansa'a Hospital.
The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Saad Jaber, former Minister of Health and representative of His Royal Highness, Mr. Michael Alsayegh, President of the Administrative Board of MAP Jordan, His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Adhrawi, and Mr. Shaban Wafi, Executive Director of the International Vision Foundation.
Also present were the General Manager of Al Khansa'a Hospital, Dr. Wadah Al Barghouti, members of the Administrative Board, and representatives from civil society institutions supporting MAP Jordan in this humanitarian event.
I Have a Dream Campaign
During the blessed month of Ramadan in 2023, the "I Have a Dream" campaign launched dedicated efforts to support children suffering from illnesses and medical conditions in refugee camps in Jordan. Amidst challenging circumstances, including insufficient medical care and essential resources for treatment, many families find themselves unable to afford necessary medical care for their sick children due to financial difficulties.
The "I Have a Dream" campaign aimed to extend a helping hand and support to these children and their families during this holy month.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and contributors, the campaign successfully provided essential medical treatments and critical surgeries.
These efforts significantly improved the lives of these children, helping them on their journey to recovery.
Their Duty is Upon Us
Intensive efforts were made to support and treat elderly individuals in refugee camps and nearby villages in Jordan, many of whom suffer from chronic illnesses and require continuous medical care.
The campaign aimed to provide essential treatment and healthcare for the elderly in these areas, with the goal of improving their quality of life and alleviating their suffering.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide necessary treatments and significantly improve the health conditions of the elderly.
Treating Neurological Disorders in Children
This campaign helped children suffering from neurological disorders during September 2023 by conducting a significant number of necessary medical examinations. These examinations included brain or nerve function testing, chromosome testing, Botox therapy, MRI brain and spinal cord scans, auditory impairment treatment, and genetic testing.
The campaign lasted for more than two months with the aim of serving the largest possible number of children in need of specialized neurological care and treatments.
For Our People in Gaza.
Due to the October 2023 war in Gaza, donations were collected in solidarity with our people in Gaza in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, which works with official security entities to deliver aid.
MAP Jordan has delivered a new installment of donations totaling 35,000 Jordanian Dinars to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to support our people in Gaza.
This brings the total donations since the beginning of the war in October last year to 140,000 Jordanian Dinars. These funds are designated for purchasing medical supplies and transporting them to the affected areas for our people in Gaza through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
The Solidarity and Mercy Campaign
It was launched on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People in November 2023.
It aimed to contribute to the treatment of numerous patients residing in refugee camps in Jordan and neighboring villages.
Lighten Their Load Campaign
Our children's health, our country's future.
The campaign contributed to treating over 10,000 children by the end of 2021 through specialized clinics in our health centers.
It included examinations for children, medicine kits, milk baskets and supplies for special cases, sponsorship of a child's treatment for 6 months, and contribution to the fund for operations for needy children.
Lighten Their Load 6
This campaign held in 2023 witnessed 350 surgical operations performed through donation support to save lives via the Operations Fund.
Operations included:
- Bone surgeries such as fractures, advanced hip dislocation reduction, and correction of congenital limb deformities.
- Ear, nose, and throat clinic surgeries, including ear decay treatment, tonsillectomy, and nasal polypectomy.
- Eye surgeries such as strabismus correction, blocked tear duct treatment, white cataract and intraocular lens implantation, and keratoconus stabilization.
- Emergency surgeries including tendon lengthening, gallbladder and appendix removal, and hernia repair.
During the campaign, an open donation broadcast day was organized in collaboration with Hayat FM radio to support the "Lighten Their Load 6"
Their Food, Their Life Campaign
The campaign "Their Food, Their Life" contributed to supporting children's health in camps to combat malnutrition, where the rate of anemia among children exceeds 35% due to malnutrition.
This was achieved through specialized clinics in our health centers, conducting examinations, and providing donations to various categories, including:
- Pediatric examinations and treatments.
- Laboratory tests.
- Provision of milk for one month.
- Provision of vitamins and dietary supplements for one month.
- Provision of milk (nutritional supplement) for special needs children for one month.
- Provision of a food basket for a child for one month.
- Contribution to renovating an eye clinic in Gaza camp.
The campaign began on July 1, 2022, and continued until August 31, 2022.
Their Health, Our Future Campaign
MAP Jordan launched this campaign aimed at treating children in refugee camps and neighboring villages, strengthening their immunity, and ensuring their healthy growth.
The campaign included pediatric consultations and treatment, the cost of X-rays, purchase of a birthing delivery device, provision of infant formula for special cases, sponsorship of a child's treatment for one year, and contributions towards pediatric surgeries.
Additionally, contributions were made towards purchasing an echocardiogram machine for the cardiology clinic at Hittin Center.

A campaign launched by MAP cooperated with MedLabs with the aim to provide 1000 women & children with vitamins to save them from anemia.
Your Initiative Ensures Their Protection Campaign
MAP Jordan launched this campaign to cover the costs of preventive screenings and medications for elderly patients in the camps, ensuring their treatment and chronic disease examinations.
The campaign included elderly patient consultations, medication purchase costs, provision of preventive treatments and examinations for chronic diseases, sponsorship of one month's treatment for a patient, contribution to the annual treatment costs for needy families, support for necessary operations costs for those in need, and the purchase of an echocardiogram machine for the cardiology clinic at Hittin Center.
Sustain Their Treatment Campaign
MAP Jordan launched this campaign on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People to continue providing treatment for over 55,000 patients annually from the camps and neighboring villages.
Support could be provided by sponsoring treatment for needy families or individuals through donations in various categories such as patient diagnosis, diagnostic imaging, monthly treatment for cardiac clinic patients, contribution to specialized cases treatment costs, funding the operation of health center facilities, covering treatment for chronic diseases, and ensuring medication supply for them.
Sponsor Her Treatment Campaign
MAP Jordan launched this campaign on the occasion of Mother's Day and World Health Day to treat mothers and elderly women in the camps who require healthcare.
The campaign includes consultations and treatment for mothers, medication purchase costs, monthly sponsorship for maternal treatment, provision of supplies for special cases, contribution to the treatment of patients at the women's clinic, and support for the annual treatment costs of needy families.
Start Your Year by Giving Campaign
MAP Jordan launched the "Start Your Year with Giving" campaign in 2020, aiming to allow people to begin their year with kindness and charity.
The campaign focuses on providing medical supplies to health centers to ensure continuous treatment for needy families. This includes donating towards the cost of treatment for children or elderly individuals, covering medication expenses, supplying medical equipment for clinics, ICU units, laboratory supplies, and contributing towards the costs of medical devices.
