Hala who resides in Hittin refugee camp is an 8 year old refugee and orphan lost her father at a very young age. She suffered from loss of eyesight in one of her eyes since birth.

After being referred to the Hittin Medical Center in Schneller, it was found upon examining her by an ophthalmologist that she suffers from a permanent congenital deformity in her left eye and that she also suffers from poor eyesight in the right eye.

Accordingly, MAP Jordan coordinated its efforts and succeed in covering a surgery in her left eye for enucleation of the eye in order to place a glass eye to replace the damaged one. Hala regained her sight and her life.
