Being an intern at Medical Aid for Palestinians has been enlightening and an experience where I have learned a lot on a professional level, but also on a personal level. Being part of the communication & marketing team has allowed me to broaden my scope, and thus, I learned how to design and navigate how to make information easy to read, find, and visually appealing while representing the organisation to potential new partners and current partners. Due to my position, I was able to visit multiple camps on multiple occasions, saw projects turn into reality at different times, and thus was clearly shown how projects affect people’s lives, and thus I was able to understand the authenticity of MAP Jordan's mission.  Personally, I learned how to think more strategically and critically because I have gained an understanding of how each photo, post, and text can serve the organisation’s long-term goals.
