Signing a Cooperation Agreement between Jordan Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP JORDAN) and Tkiyet Um Ali

In its effort to establish cooperative relations with active institutions in the field of charity within Jordan for the service of society, Jordan Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP JORDAN) signed a Cooperation Agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali to support the families in need approved by Tkiyet Um Ali by providing them with medical treatment; the treatment includes the families with children, mothers, or elderly suffering from malnutrition or anemia in each of Gaza Camp in Jerash Governorate and Hittin Camp in Zarqa Governorate. The agreement was signed by Mrs. MAHA ALSAQA, the CEO of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), and Mr. SAMER BALKAR, the Director-General of Tkiyet Um Ali.

Pursuant to the provisions of the agreement, the Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) will provide Tkiyet Um Ali with the names of the families in dire need of food within Gaza Camp, in addition to the reports of the specialist physicians, so that Tkiyet Um Ali considers and approves the families in need to benefit from the monthly food packages program. The cooperation will begin as a first phase by covering 100  of the families in need within the camp.

MAP has managed for over 26 years to provide treatment and health care for more than 1,350,000 patients of Palestinian refugees residing within the camps in Jordan, in addition to raising health awareness for people in need of all ages.

Tkiyet Um Ali is currently working on expanding its operations, represented in delivering monthly food packages, to reach the larger possible number of deserving families; Tkiyet Um Ali currently delivers food packages to 28,000 beneficiaries and approved families and it aims to reach 30,000 families monthly before the end of 2017.
